Grace Nagamine – Founder & President
Inspired by her granddaughter, Melanie Mona, Grace founded Royal Angels with the belief that every person deserves a place where they belong, where they are valued, and where they can shine.
A lifelong resident of Alamogordo, New Mexico, Grace has devoted much of her life to serving others. She has volunteered with numerous community organizations, served on nonprofit boards, and continues to advocate for individuals with disabilities, families, children, and those facing difficult life circumstances. Her passion for helping others is rooted in her Christian faith and the belief that every life has purpose.
Grace is a former Mrs. New Mexico and Mrs. Sun City, an author, humanitarian, speaker, and community leader. She has also served as a Global Ambassador for Come On In Inc. and has contributed as a writer for Pain 2 Purpose Magazine. Through every role she has held, her mission has remained the same—to encourage hope, inspire others, and make a positive difference in people’s lives.
As the founder of Royal Angels, Grace leads with compassion, integrity, and a servant’s heart. Her vision is to build a community where differences are celebrated, families are supported, and every Angel knows they are deeply loved and wonderfully made.

Merry Flores – Director & Treasurer
Merry Flores serves as a Director and the Treasurer of Royal Angels. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership from Bellevue University and is currently pursuing her Master of Business Administration (MBA). With nearly 30 years of leadership experience, she brings a heart for service, organization, and community to the organization.
In addition to her role with Royal Angels, Merry also serves as the Vice President of another nonprofit organization, where she continues her commitment to community service, leadership, and making a positive impact.
Merry is passionate about creating pageants where every participant feels special, valued, and celebrated. Her goal is to highlight each individual’s unique abilities, build confidence, and create an unforgettable experience for every contestant and their family. She believes everyone deserves the opportunity to shine and to know they are loved, accepted, and capable of achieving great things.
